Each counselor has experience and specialty areas that can be viewed on our Therapists page. Below is a list of issues that we typically address. Kaleo offers Individual, Premarital, Marital, Adolescent, Child, and Family counseling. Many times there is a need for a combination of these services and we are open to discussing those options when needed.

Child and Family Counseling

Several of our counselors offer counseling for children and families. Many times this involves play therapy techniques and family sessions. Some of the issues that our therapists specialize in are parent/child relations, anger, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.

 

The Hope Center for Grief and Life Losses

Kaleo has a special heart for those who are grieving from losses of any kind. We want to partner with those who have experienced loss in a more intentional way. This is why we created The Hope Center for Grief and Life Losses. All of our therapists who are part of The Hope Center have received specialized training in grief therapy. We desire to walk with those who have experienced loss, in a compassionate way and help them in their journey to find healing.

 

Seminars

Kaleo counselors speak on a variety of topics from a Biblical perspective. Topics include grief and loss, stress and anxiety, marriage, depression, connecting with teens, understanding mental illness, and effective parenting. We are available for other topics that are specifically requested by your group as our expertise allows. We are also available for Crisis Counseling for churches and other organizations.
